インクルーシブ・ファッション
2009年から始まったプロジェクト。障害者のためのファッションが示唆する問題を浮き彫りにし、ファッションの意味を問い直す研究と制作一体型のプロジェクト。今日、障害がある若者もまた衣服を通して自己認識を構築する中で、彼らのための服はどのようにあるべきなのか、どのような機能的・象徴的実用性がなぜ必要とされるのかをエスノグフィックな手法で研究していく。
Inclusive Fashion
This is an individual project on inclusive design in the field of fashion, exploring the problematics of “fashion” for the physically impaired youth. This reconsiders the function of fashion in the context of sociology. This research and design project employs ethnographic method to explore how and why functional and symbolic clothing are demanded by the youth with physical impairments.
